Join us for our 20th Anniversary rally through 120 miles of glorious Mid Wales and Shropshire countryside as we raise funds for charity
For 20 years the annual Vaynor Festival rally has welcomed vehicles new and old to explore the stunning Shropshire and Mid Wales roads, on a new route every year. Entry fees are nominal and include refreshments, lunch and prize giving, with novice rally drivers enjoying the outing alongside loyal "Vaynors".

About Vaynor Festival
The Vaynor Festival is a one-day regularity rally based in Shropshire and Mid Wales, taking in the area’s breathtaking scenery and exciting routes. Whilst entries from classic/vintage vehicles are always thrilling, any roadworthy, taxed and insured vehicle is welcomed. No experience is needed with newcomers always appreciated, quickly becoming part of our friendly community of enthusiasts.
Over the years, we have focussed on raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care alongside other charities which change each year. The event is organised by volunteers, so all profits go to our chosen charities.
Supporting Good Causes
Marie Curie provides a better end of life for more people, whatever the illness. We’re here for anyone living with any illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. We provide free palliative and end of life care, information and support. We campaign for more people to have a better end of life and fund palliative care research.
Shrewsbury Drapers Company is a long-established Guild which was granted a royal charter in 1462 and was historically responsible for the importation of unfinished Welsh cloth into England. The Guild has been running almshouses continuously since 1444.
Whilst proud of it’s history as a Guild, the modern Shrewsbury Drapers Company is an active, volunteering organisation whose members participate in its principal objectives of preserving their heritage, providing almshouses and furthering education in textiles by running an annual competition for students and adults.
